Hammond Edwards Named Vice President, Senior Commercial Lender at TD Bank

COLUMBIA, SC - October 18, 2012 - TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank®, has named Hammond Edwards Vice President, Senior Commercial Lender, for the Columbia area of South Carolina. He is responsible for the management of business development, focusing on the expansion of commercial relationships within the market.
Edwards has more than 20 years of banking experience. Prior to joining TD Bank, he was senior commercial lender and business development officer for Regions Bank, covering the Midlands. Previously, Edwards also held leadership positions with First Citizens Bank, Anchor Bank and Wachovia in Columbia.

Edwards is a graduate of University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in finance and insurance. He also earned a degree from The Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. Edwards is a member of the Glenforest School Board of Directors. He is also a member of Columbia Rotary Club, volunteers with the Salvation Army and is former Columbia Chamber of Commerce board member.
