Peter Fox and Dan Mall Win Coveted Award; Attribute Success To The Community

CHAMPAIGN, IL & COLUMBIA, SC - February 8, 2010 – Jimmy John’s was founded over 26 years ago by a guy who was obsessed with tasty sandwiches and speed.  Now, nearly 1000 stores later, the passion Jimmy John’s has for quality and speed remains at the core of everything they do.  Each year, Jimmy John’s brings its employees and franchisees together for its annual convention to award the best of the best among its system.  This year, the highest recognition, the Operator of the Year Award, was given to Peter Fox and Dan Mall of Fox JJ Acquisition, LLC, who operate stores together in the Columbia area.

“Peter and Dan just kick butt at everything they do at their stores,” said Jimmy John Liautaud, founder of Jimmy John’s.  “They rock at delivering speed, quality and an awesome experience for our customers.”

Peter and Dan joined forces more than seven years ago with when they started operating their first Jimmy John’s location in Bloomington, IN.  Now, 18 stores later, they are making plans to continue to expand their business, since everyone loves Jimmy John’s everywhere they open.

 “We are so grateful for the support that Jimmy John’s, our landlords, local businesses and customers have given us along the way,” said Fox.  “I’d also like to give a special thank you to Dan, who is my right-hand man.  This award is a testament to his hard work and dedication to the brand and to our customers.”

It’s the consistency of delivering a high-quality all around customer experience that Peter and Dan value so much that has made them a success.  Just like at all Jimmy John’s locations, the ingredients they use are best in class and served fresh.  The French and whole-wheat bread is baked in-house daily and every vegetable, cheese and all-natural meat is freshly sliced at the restaurant each and every day. They uphold the mantra “Subs so fast you’ll freak” by making sure customers have their sandwich in-hand as soon as they finish paying, and their delivery guys are certifiably freaky fast.
