League Of Women Voter of Columbia to Host Eight Candidates for Richland County Council at Forum

COLUMBIA, SC - The Columbia League of Women Voters will sponsor a forum for Richland County Council candidates Thursday, Oct. 18, at the Capital Senior Center.

The question and answer session will begin at noon, moderated by Columbia League President Rita Paul.

The League is inviting all county council candidates in the five contested council races for the 90 minute forum.

Candidates confirmed include:

Helen "Ree" Daniels Taylor
Joyce Dickerson
Julie-Ann Dixon
Val Hutchinson
Jim Manning
Celestine Parker
Torrey Rush
Kelvin Washington

The public and media are invited to attend. In addition to questions formulated by the League, written questions will be taken from those attending.
